Bank of America Chicago Marathon

Hi to all!

I am excited to share that my twin sister and I are going to run the Chicago Marathon in October of 2022. We have been best friends and running buddies forever! In celebration of our 53rd birthday, we are looking forward to acheiving this goal together while giving back doing something we love.

Running in the great state of Illinois we have the opportunity to and are partnering with the Northern Illinois Food Bank with the goal of raising funds to support their mission to fight hunger.

The Northern Illinois Food Bank (a member of Feeding America) has been responding to the increased need in their communities, which remains elevated due to the effects of COVID-19. In their latest fiscal year (July 2020-June 2021), the Food Bank has helped provide over 100 million meals to the community.

Please join us in making a difference in the lives of the thousands of people in Northern Illinois who are hungry. The funds raised will stay right in their backyard, and will fill an empty plate of a hungry neighbor.

Your Donation Makes an Impact:

+ Every $1 donated helps provide $8 worth of groceries for neighbors in need

+ 97% of the Food Bank's resources go to programs that feed neighbors in need

+ The Food Bank serves 13 counties in Northern Illinois, providing the equivalent of nearly 220,000 meals each day
