No Shave, Big Impact

Join the movement by letting your hair grow for the month of November, spreading awareness and raising funds to support cancer education, advocacy, and research. Fight Colorectal Cancer will join forces with Man Up To Cancer and the Prevent Cancer Foundation in 2025 to magnify your contributions—fueling critical education, advocacy, and support across the cancer community.  

How to Participate

DID YOU KNOW: On average, consumers spend $60–$150 a month on grooming— from haircuts and razors to skincare, shaving supplies, and styling products. This No Shave November, we’re asking you to skip the shave and pledge those dollars to support cancer research, education, and powerful advocacy efforts through Fight CRC and Man Up to Cancer. 

Your skipped haircut or unused razor could help save a life. 

Fundraise solo or rally a team to grow together for a good cause. Whether you're showcasing your own style or starting a friendly competition, every effort counts. Share your journey, inspire others, and help make a real impact—one hair at a time. 

What is No Shave November?

No Shave is a fundraising campaign built to support cancer education and awareness. This November we’re asking everyone to let their hair grow, raise awareness, and help fund cancer advocacy, education, and research. Pledge the dollars you’d normally spend on grooming and hair care to support the cause. Whether you grow a beard, sport a mustache, or simply skip a few grooming routines, your participation makes a difference. Together, we can build a vibrant community committed to change—one hair at a time. 

In 2024, No Shave November found a new home with Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC). We proudly carry forward the Hill family’s inspiring legacy supporting all cancer communities through awareness, advocacy, and grants that fund impactful education and awareness efforts.

No Shave November began in 2009 as a grassroots Facebook campaign started by the Hill family of Illinois in memory of their father, Matthew Hill, who passed away from colon cancer in November 2007. What began as a bold and heartfelt idea to grow hair, start conversations, and fund cancer research quickly became a nationwide movement uniting people through purpose and facial hair.

We will never forget that Matthew Hill and his family turned facial hair into a powerful symbol of awareness and solidarity.
