I am a 12-year survivor of stage-IIIB rectal cancer and, as it happens, a leadership volunteer for both Fight Colorectal  Cancer and Man Up to Cancer. 

While I have been NED for 11 years, a number of people I love dearly have been diagnosed with late-stage and/or incurable colorectal cancer. My best friend, Ryan, who you see in my profile photo, is one of those people. I have been a cancer advocate for several organizations for a long time but decided to narrow my focus to Fight CRC and Man Up to Cancer because of Ryan -- and Trevor, JJ, Ule, Keith, Jason and so many others. I want to do everything I can to see them reach NED status.

Meanwhile, I also want to support them and the nearly 3,000 men in the Man Up To Cancer community by helping all men facing cancer find connection and avoid isolation during their cancer journeys. We know that the work Man Up to Cancer does helps improve mental health, quality of life and clinical outcomes. Men (and their partners) tell us over and over again how Man Up to Cancer saved them/helped them. 

That No-Shave November can help both of the causes closest to my heart is amazing. I hope you will join me by making a donation.
