While the burdens of the COVID-19 crisis and its economic fallout are affecting all parents, they are disproportionately hurting the single mothers in our Young Moms Self Sufficiency Program, many of whom were already struggling. I am supporting YSB because I want to make a difference in our community to these young people who deserve to feel safe. Just as the YSB Mission states, "Our community thrives when all young people have safety, stability, and the opportunity to reach their full potential."
