To know Sammy is to love him! He burst into my life back in April 2025 when I adopted him through the SPCA's "If the Fur Fits" program. I fell in love with him instantly and returning him was never an option for me.

He’s an adorable and (sometimes crotchety) senior dog who burst into my life with his list of demands and constant side-eye, and I’m obsessed with him. Affectionately known as Chico, Killer, and Mr. Personality by my neighbors, Sammy runs around like a little celebrity and I’m just on his payroll. Actually, we all are.

Loves:
Cuddles (specifically being carried like a baby)
Car rides
Salmon
Sleeping in clothes baskets
Cussing out other dogs on his walks (and people, too)
