While generosity is always welcome, it can be difficult to know what items are most helpful to a child in the village. It can be better for us to purchase some items in country as a way of supporting the local economy. Or a child receiving something extravagant can create false expectation in other children. To help bridge the gap between sponsor’s generosity and a child’s need, we started the Christmas Bucket Campaign each year. Practical, needed and fun gifts are purchased locally and given in a bucket to the family of the student. Even the buckets fill an actual need of the family. For just $40, the bucket is purchased, filled and delivered before Christmas. You’ll receive a picture of your sponsored child with their bucket.

We encourage existing sponsors to purchase a bucket for their own student and may even add an additional one. Other donors have generously given towards the drive even when they don't sponsor anyone. All donations are welcomed.
