Who Am I? And Who is the RISPCA
My name is Amy Hurst, some of you may know me as Anders or not know me at all. I have a passion for helping people and animals as much as I can. I have two cats and a Crested Gecko and I am known as Auntie to plenty of my friends dogs. I volunteered for the RISPCA for a very short time right before the virus hit. I am now in school and cant help with their reopening efforts or summer fundraising and so I have started my own page to raise money for their virtual event!.
The RISPCA is a non profit, no kill shelter in East Providence Rhode Island. Their shelter programs include adopting out, intakes, rescues of cats dogs and other small animals. In addition to that they also run an animal food pantry where you and your pet can come to get food or other pet supplies that you may need when hard times hit They are run almost entirely by faithful volunteers that love animals!
So go ahead and help out this shelter in their biggest fundraiser of the year. You can follow them on facebook to participate in contests, raffles and more events throughout September.
