About Curie Costen:

Currie is a native of Richmond, Virginia and is serving as a Junior Honoree during this year’s Richmond W.I.S.H Circle. She is currently a student at Freeman High School. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and practices jazz, ballet, and modern dance. In the future, she hopes to attend college and pursue a degree in the medical field. Currie is very involved with her church and has volunteered on two mission trips to South Dakota and California. Additionally, she is a member of the church choir. At school, she participates in SODA: Student Organization of Developing Attitudes. Currie shared she accepted the role of honoree to, “give kids something they have always wanted.” She expressed, “I feel honored to be one of the first Junior Honorees, and I hope to inspire more teens to get involved with non-profit organizations. I hope to meet new people and get more involved in Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia.”
