RAINRAPS Partners WIth Make-A-Wish of Greater Virginia

RAINRAPS is honored to have been selected for our professional and philanthropic achievements, to participate in the W.I.S.H. Circle (Woman, Inspiring Strenght and Hope). The W.I.S.H Circle is help further the mission of Make a Wish Of Greater Virginia and raise awareness and funds to create life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

As honorees, our goal at RAINRAPS is to raise $20,000, which would grant the wishes of two children. We have seen firsthand how a wish can make a difference in a child's life, as Stacy's niece was granted a wish just last year after being diagnosed with a brain tumor at the young age of 16.

We would love for you to help us grant these wishesl!  Your donation would make an immediate, direct and substantial impact in a child's life during a time of great need. Currently, there are 179 children in Virginia awaiting wishes.

This campaign is launching today and ends December 6, 2018.

Thank you.

About Team RainRaps:

Stacy Struminger is the Founder and President of RAINRAPS. She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in retail marketing. She worked for 10 years with Burlington Coat Factory as a buyer and helped establish its Baby Depot subsidiary. Working closely with the founder of Baby Depot, Stacy was instrumental to developing key pieces of baby furniture that have become a staple in the industry. After meeting her husband and moving from Manhattan to Richmond, Virginia, Stacy was a busy stay-at-home mom with a yearning to get back into creative retail.

Rachel Teyssier is the Co-Founder and Vice President of RAINRAPS. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in journalism. Having worked for several years in the magazine industry in Manhattan, Rachel moved to the non-profit sector, first in Philadelphia and then in Chicago, where she was the Associate Director of Meeting Planning for the National Office of the Alzheimer’s Association. Prior to starting RAINRAPS, Rachel oversaw the startup of a web-based software company in central Virginia.

RAINRAPS is passionate about numerous causes and believes that giving back is a significant endeavor to their business. In January of 2018, they implemented a program, that for each quarter, they will highlight a different charitable organization. This quarter they have chosen to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia chapter!
