My Personal Fundraising Page

I’m participating in SARC’s Walk a Mile in Their Shoes because this cause hits close to home for me, not just as a member of the community, but as a father.

I have two daughters, and like any parent, I want them to grow up in a world where they feel safe, respected, and empowered. Unfortunately, we all know that is not always the reality. Events like this shine a light on the challenges many people, especially women and children, face every day. They remind us that awareness and action matter.

Walking a mile in heels might seem symbolic, but that is exactly the point. It is about stepping outside our comfort zone, building empathy, and standing in support of survivors of sexual violence and abuse. It is about showing our daughters, and everyone watching, that we take this seriously. That we are willing to speak up and support organizations like SARC that do important work in our community.

I am walking for my daughters. I am walking for every person who deserves to feel safe. I am walking to help create a future where respect and compassion are the standard.

If you are able, please consider supporting this cause or joining the movement. Every step makes a difference.
