Thank you for visiting our fundraising page for the Making Strides for Special Kids 5K Run/Walk!

So many of you have supported Bill and I over the years as we participate in this great event. I thank you so very much for helping us.

Once again, we are committed to raising funds for the amazing students and staff of the Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL), a cooperative educational system working with school districts throughout the county to serve students who are facing physical, emotional, and other learning challenges. These funds will be used to directly enrich the educational, vocational, and social opportunities for children with disabilities in Lake County. Having worked with these kids and staff as the former principal of Laremont, I have seen firsthand how much SEDOL students and their families need our help and I know what a direct and meaningful impact we can provide. Taking care of the members of our community who are most in need is a responsibility that we all share and one that I am personally committed to.

Donating to the SEDOL Foundation and supporting our participation in this event is simple, fast, and completely secure, and it is also the most effective way to support my fundraising efforts. You can make a donation to my personal fundraising page, or participate in the event as an individual or as a team and help raise funds yourself.
