It's hard to believe I have reached my 4th Seek the Peak as Mount Washington Observatory's Executive Director. We've had such phenomenal growth in our organization's impact and in the succes of this event thanks to each of you. I am simply humbled by all you each do. Thank you for making my time here so memorable.

Because I'm looking forward to many more years here at the Observatory, I hope you will contribute to my hike and help advance our mission. With your help, we have been observing and reporting on Mount Washington’s infamous conditions for 94+ years from our mountaintop weather station, enabling us to collect a unique high elevation dataset that the National Weather Service uses in its forecasting models, reports, warnings, and research. These days we have expanded our own forecasts past the higher summits to also help keep millions of people in New England safe with timely weather info. We're committed to making the science happening on Mount Washington of benefit to all with inspirational educational programs for young children and their families, novel research with our partners, and exciting events like this year's Seek the Peak.

My family will again be hiking this summer to support the work of our storied institution and to transform Mount Washington in a manner that will preserve this internationally recognized place for future generations.
