Snow City Arts inspires and educates children and youth in hospitals through the arts. They provides one-on-one instruction in the visual arts, creative writing, music, theater and media arts to patients at Chicagoland hospitals. Their teaching artists typically work with an individual child at his or her bedside and address developmental and educational needs through the arts. Teaching artists empower children who are in an environment where they can make almost no decisions for themselves. 

This is my 8th (!!) year supporting Snow City Arts through the race team. I'm excited to be chairing the commitee this year and hope you'll join me in supporting the organization!
