Finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is close to my heart. I’ve seen first-hand how devastating it can be for MS warriors and their families.

MS is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. MS can be a hidden disease. The person affected may be fatigued, dizzy, numb, or even struggling with their eyesight while they appear to be healthy on the outside. MS is different for everyone, which makes it a challenging disease to treat effectively.

That's why I am running for the Tisch MS Research Center of New York (TMSRCNY), an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3), to raise awareness and funds for MS and the innovative research that shows promise for new treatments and therapies. I am pleased that 100% of my $5,000 fundraising goal will directly benefit TMSRCNY.

Projects like the Phase II stem-cell clinical trial that TMSRCNY began last fall are an incredible source of hope for the MS community, but only possible through the support of generous donors like YOU!

Running the 2019 NYC Marathon is a small way for me to make a big difference for those who are unable to walk or run for themselves. Together, we can build a future without MS.
