Stop Ag Gag Laws

Please know this is an issue ALL Canadians should be concerned about.  Ag Gag laws have been sweeping the USA and have been overturned due to being unconstitutional and now they have popped up provincially in Alberta and Ontario and the Federal government is working on a Federal Ag Gag law.  This industry has no standards for animals expcept when animals are transported in a truck and slaughtered.  From birth to death, these animals are virtually left in the dark, in an industry that remains unchecked and generally has only voluntary guidelines when it comes to the animals.

No amount is too small to donate.  Animal Justice is Canada's ONLY animal rights organization, lobbying for change for the animals and they are up against goliath with the animal agriculture industry who would prefer to silence whistleblowers and continue to operate in secrecy. 

The ag gag law our federal government wants to pass has harsh punishments for whistleblowers, massive fines and jail time.  Most industries applaud whisleblowers for coming forward, but not this one.  That alone should tell you something.
