Repeal Ontario's Ag Gag law

Please support the lawyers who are trying to get Ontario's Ag Gag law repealed.

The Ontario Ag Gag law came into effect only one or two days before Regan Russell was killed by a truck containing pigs in front of Fearman Pork close to Hamilton. I had a fellowship with the Save Movement and was on a Zoom call with them in June 2020 when another Save member joined the call and shared the news. Here's an article about it: Driver Who Killed Regan Russell Sentenced to Pay $2,000.

The law affects freedom of speech and animal rights, but it also affects the environment. Industrial animal ag is responsible for existential ecological problems. Cattle produce GHGs associated with climate change, and the loss of rainforests and other forests related to ranching means carbon trapped in trees has been released as GHGs into the atmosphere. Ranching accounts for about 80% of the world's farmland and has had a devastating effect on wildlife. According to WWF, there's been a 69% drop worldwide in animals since 1970, mostly related to loss of habitat, including in the Amazon, where rainforest has been cleared for ranching.
