My Personal Virtual Polar Bear Dip Page

River Hospital has been my go-to for urgent care since I moved to the area in 2010. The clinic got me a same day appointment when I had terrible strep throat and the ED helped stitch me up after I sliced my shin open on a dock ladder. I made multiple 911 calls last summer working at Boldt Castle and having the Alexandria Bay fireboat transport guests from Heart Island to River Hospital was an incredible resource and relief to us being on an island with thousands of daily visitors. If you've spent any time in the 1000 Islands, you have probably visited the Hospital. Help me raise money for the cause, and I promise you I will provide a weird beekeeper themed "dip" video as thanks.

Dipping for a Great Cause!

The Polar Bear Dip has been raising money for River Hospital in Alexandria Bay, NY for over 30 years. By joining this event you are joining thousands of people who have made a difference for River Hospital over the years. This year, more than ever no matter how you dip what is important is that you help us continue the Dip tradition for River Hospital! We really do need your help and appreciate all your amazing support over the years! This year’s funding will support resources for the Emergency Department, including additional cardiac monitors which are critical to the hospital’s COVID-19 response efforts.

This year’s Virtual Polar Bear Dip goal is $50,000.
