Maui Humane Society is throwing a slumber party with a twist! On April 29, the top fundraisers will be checking in to a luxury resort to treat a shelter dog to a VIP experience for the night! I'm fundraising to be part of the event and while I plan to have a great time, I'm also supporting an organization that cares for almost 5000 animals a year. I hope you'll help me reach my goal!

It takes a village .. literally! I started volunteering at Maui Humane Society cleaning the cat ohana and critter corner. I then began volunteering for beach buddies! I loved surrounding myself with people who were on the same mission .. to save lives ♥️

I am participating in this fundraiser in honor of a shelter dog who I held close to my heart .. his name is Kua. I met him during his intake and MHS and I instantly loved him! He spent some time in the kennels until he participated in the wings of aloha program where he flew across states to his forever home. I still remember the day he was ready to start his new journey.. I bought him a toy elephant to keep him company during the plane ride and he held it close to him as I gave him one last hug.
