As many of you know, it is my privilege to serve as Executive Director of The Community Kitchen. Every day, I have the opportunity to witness both the challenges our neighbors face and the incredible generosity of this community.
This year, I am participating in the inaugural Walk to Squash Hunger, a new fundraising event benefiting The Community Kitchen. While I may spend most of my time working behind the scenes, I felt it was important to lace up my walking shoes and join this effort personally.
Over the past year, The Community Kitchen provided more than 450,000 meals to nearly 4,000 individuals throughout the Monadnock Region. Behind those numbers are children, seniors, veterans, working families, and individuals facing difficult circumstances who rely on our programs for nutritious food and compassionate support.
I am asking for your help in ensuring that we can continue to meet this growing need. A gift of any size will make a difference and help provide meals, groceries, and hope to our neighbors.
Thank you for supporting me, The Community Kitchen, and the belief that no one in our community should go hungry. I am grateful for your friendship, your generosity, and your commitment to caring for one another.
Together, we can squash hunger.
