This is the seventh year that Tanzanite's Walking Tutus has participated in the Humane Society's Walk for the Animals.

We start this pack every year with the high hopes and intentions of bringing awareness to all the incredible programs that the Humane Society of Broward County offers and to raise some serious money to fund all these awesome programs.

We are very excited that this year the walk will take place Saturday, March 4^, 2023 at a new beachside location – the Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park - 80 Las Olas Circle, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

We invite you to participate and encourage each of our pack members to commit to donating or raising a minimum of $150 per person.  For each member that meets, or preferably exceeds, the $150 per person minimum, we will provide you and your furry family members with tutus and other costume accessories for the walk.  You will also receive a swag bag provided by the Humane Society of Broward County.  Your items will need to be picked up from our home by appointment before 4 pm on Sunday, February, 26 or Wednesday, March 1 (no items will be brought to the park on the day of the event).

COVID-19 continues to impact our society and the Humane Society of Broward County needs your help now, more than ever before. This unforeseen circumstance has reminded us that connection and advocacy within the community is crucial.

For over 32 years, the Walk for the Animals has served as the Humane Society of Broward County's largest annual fundraiser. By donating to the Walk, you are helping thousands of animals that come through their doors each year. Every dollar supports them as they provide veterinary care, food, shelter and much much more to every animal they see.
