  1. Do I have to register online?

Not at all! Please click here for paper registration form.

  1. When is the registration deadline?

Register by 10/5 to receive a welcome packet in the mail prior to the event.  The first 300 registrants who donate or receive a pledge will get a surprise gift from us.  Otherwise, you can register any time by 10/16 at 7:00 pm in order to enter for door prizes and receive our Zoom link for the virtual celebration.

  1. I'm registered.  What's next? 

  2. Reach out to your friends and family to fundraise online, via email, or in person (don't forget to be safe and wear a mask)!  Check out this link for guidance
  3. MOVE 50!  You pick the time, place, and activity to participate in this event.  Move for 50 minutes any way you choose.  Don’t forget to send us pictures and short videos of your activity.
  4. Look for an email from us with a link to join us for the virtual celebration on 10/18.
  5. Personalize your fundraising page.  You can watch this video for some quick tips.
  6. Where do I share my pictures and videos? 

Please send all pictures and videos to us at walk@eclcofnj.org.  We will use them at our zoom party or on our website!  Anyone who shares pictures or videos with us will be automatically entered for a special prize drawing.

  1. How do I start a Facebook fundraising page?

It's very easy.  Watch this short video for instruction.

  1. Do I have to join the virtual celebration if I am not available at that time?  

No, but we will miss seeing your smile.

  1. How many people do I need to form a team?

There isn’t any minimum number of people to form a team.  However, a team must include 3 or more people and raise at least $50 in order for the captain to be eligible for a team captains prize.  

  1.  What should I do with the cash/check donations I received?  

Please email us at walk@eclcofnj.org to let us know.  You have a few options: 
A) Send checks/cash in to school with your student along with a completed Virtutal Walkathon donation form.  Address your envelope to ECLC Virtual Walkathon and we will tally the donations.
B) Make a donation in the amount raised on your own credit card on the Virtual Walkathon webiste.
C) Drop the checks in the mail (do not mail cash) to us with the completed Virutal Walkathon donation form to ECLC Virtual Walkathon,100 Passaic Avenue, Ste 1, Chatham NJ 07928
  1.  If I receive donations on the day of, how do I make sure it will count toward my total?

Please send us an email at walk@eclcofnj.org and we will monitor the total for you.  You will still follow the steps after the event from question 10.
