Community Ambassadors for STH is a membership-based auxiliary group to help support the mission and work of STH.  As Ambassadors, we give time and talents to a purpose we are passionate about – helping women, children, and others in Northwest Indiana who are experiencing homelessness or struggling to make ends meet.  

Sojourner Truth House is dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger throughout Gary and the surrounding communities in Lake County, Indiana.

By participating in our annual Walk for STH, you help individuals move from temporary shelters into safe and affordable housing. You give a child access to a positive, nurturing environment close to Mom as she participates in restorative classes, activities, and entrepreneurial opportunities. You ensure a family has a meal and basic essentials for their household.
