NuPath is a non-profit that supports adults with autism and developmental disabilities in their homes, communities and at work.  I have worked at NuPath for almost 17 years and I continue to see amazing success, caring staff, and outstanding work every day.  As the Director of Clinical Services, I help people make the initial steps to living safely and with increased independence. 

I enjoy every day that I work here.  Not because I make a ton of money, but because I love what I do, the people I meet, people I help, the great staff, and the work that NuPath does.  The last few years have been exciting as any at NuPath with the launch of new technology, innovation, and growth.

Donate Locally – yes there are great national organizations and charities that deserve recognition and support.  However, it is smaller non-profits like NuPath that spend donations directly in the local community and directly on programs.   There are no administrative charges or overheads, no money funneled to a national head quarters, no one making a salary directly from donations, and no massive funding raising costs. 

Support your local community – Nupath provides services that directly impact your local community in a significant way.  All donations go directly to programs.

Autism! – April is autism awareness month!  As you all know, the rates of autism continue to soar and continue to be staggering.  As the rates of autism in children increase, the number of children turning to adult life and in need of support continues to grow dramatically.  Each child turning to adulthood needs some sort of support and NuPath is just the agency to provide this in innovative ways.  Recently, NuPath launched Navigating Life, a program providing communication, scheduling, safety and access on an iPad platform.  This has a tremendous impact on the lives of the people we support with autism and their families.  However, such innovation and technology costs money that is not funded by state agencies, medical insurance and requires other sources.  Donations will directly benefit these advances.
