My humans adopted me from the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) almost 11 years ago! (wow, that’s a lot of treats… I mean time). And now I get to represent the biggest fundraiser of the year!

A note from my humans: "Now going on 11 years young, Ryker is a proud HSHV alum who was adopted at 4 months old from our Rescue Wagon, and has been living his very best life ever since.
Born with a deformed limb, Ryker is a walking (and tail-wagging) reminder that differences don’t limit joy, love, or impact. He’s proof that animals of all abilities and ages can thrive when given a chance—and he does it all with charm, resilience, and a whole lot of heart.
Since his adoption, Ryker has also given back in a big way. He’s been a loving foster-dad to many HSHV foster animals, welcoming each one with patience, kindness, and an open heart. He's also helped provide comfort to pets on shelter breaks, and even "spoken" at our Humane Education Camp, and future Vet Academy sessions. Known for loving all pets and all people, he embodies the compassion and community spirit at the core of our mission.
As a spokesdog, Ryker represents second chances, unconditional love, and the incredible ripple effect of adoption. He may not run the fastest 5K, but he has already gone the distance in inspiring everyone who meets him"
