The pandemic has generated so many negatives, but one positive has been all the time we've been able to spend at home with Arya (APS alum) and Thor, our adopted pitbulls.

We believe every homeless animal deserves a loving forever home, and while the homeless animals of Durham are waiting for the right family to come along, the APS shelter staff and volunteers ensure their physical and social needs are met.

We'll be walking again (virtually and at a safe social distance from others) this year to support APS. Please consider making a donation to support this very important Durham non-profit organization; all the dogs, cats and other companion animals that find themselves there through no fault of their own; and the amazing staff and volunteers who care for them.
