For those of you who are not aware of the Winter Walk, it is an annual event targeted at raising awareness and funds to help end homelessness in Boston.
The event consists of a 2 mile walk around the streets of Boston in February, the coldest month of the year. It is our chance to link arms and walk side by side with those who experience homelessness. This year we will be walking on Sunday, February 13th, 2022. After the walk, we gather to listen to their stories. It is powerful and humbling. Our ultimate goal is to show them that this city cares about their lives and to affirm our commitment to do all it takes to ease their struggles. This year, my family and I are walking with the Pine Street Inn team.
