My family has been touched multiple times by the amazing services of Hospicare, and in honor of that experience I am swimming across Cayuga Lake on August 10 to raise funds for the organization!
For those that do not know, Hospicare is an organization that works to bring medical expertise and compassionate, respectful care (physical and emotional) to people and their loved ones at any stage of a life-threatening illness. Hospicare also provides information and education about advanced illness, dying, and bereavement to the entire community.
