Summer is approaching and I can’t wait to get  back in the lake to raise funds for Hospicare and Palliative Services!  On August 10, I will be joining 300+ swimmers in the 1.2 mile swim across Cayuga Lake.  This will be my eighth year of participating in Women Swimmin’ and I feel very fortunate to still have the ability to do it and to have the loving support of so many friends and family members.  

The Women Swimmin’ fundraising event  supports the care and services which Hospicare provides for patients and their loved ones at a time of life limiting illness or following a death.  Last year the swimmers and kayakers raised over $600,000 to support this work.
