I have been a Hospicare Nurse for over 8 years and this will be the first time I will be jumping into the water to swim across Cayuga Lake! You ask why now? Well, over the past 2 years I have had loved ones pass at the Hospicare residence and have received amazing care from the Hospicare staff. I want to swim to honor my loved ones, the staff that work at Hospicare, and the patients that I have had the privilege to take care of.
