Please consider supporting my swim across Cayuga Lake!

It's that time again!  I've been a part of this event now for many of the 21 years- swimming and volunteering. The event brings community together and builds relationships while focusing on the important cause of bringing dignity in death. 

 This will be the third year I get to swim with my swimming buddy Beth. We continue to learn new things about the lake every time we're out there.  And any time it seems like it's too rough, too cold, too windy and choppy, we get in anyways.  And I never regret it. No matter what mother nature brings, I appreciate the opportunity I have to do this. In fact, we managed to get in 50 days of swimming before June 1 this year!   

And so I ask that you consider donating any amount in support of my swim this year.  Every penny that is raised here goes to Hospicare in Ithaca.  Hospicare provides care with compassion and respect and I have seen that first hand.  I've also had an opportunity to participate in their grief support and it was an experience I'll never forget.  Will you please consider donating to continue to keep these services available?  Thank you
