5th Women Swimmin' for me!

It all began when I felt "dried-out" living in Boulder, Colorado.  There wasn't much water around, and I love being near the water. So, when I decided to move from Boulder, I found Ithaca.  Ahhhh, lots of water!

I joined Island Fitness, then took Shane's class on "how to swim". There I met Judy Tennant, and we have been swimming together ever since.  Mary Catt joined us in 2019, and Liz Tennant in 2023.

Hopefully, the lake will cooperate, so that we can actually get in this year.  We were really disappointed that last year the water was too rough.  Our training was fun, but we really wanted to "go the distance"!

We will be training again this year, and hopefully we will get to swim across.  No worries if we don't; we have a great time training, and Hospicare is a wonderful organization to sponsor.
