My Personal Fundraising Page

Hi! I am Tamar, a local to Ithaca. I have been swimming in Cayuga Lake since I was a child-- in the summer of 2020 I swam in the lake from May-October every single day. Since then, I have started a PhD program at cornell in Development Studies, studying the climate change governance. Cayuga lake and its waters are incredibly important to me. Hospicare is as well-- I feel it is our duty as a society to ensure a dignified and peaceful process of death. I am very excited to be participating in women swimming for the first time-- and look forward to supporting the effort towards ensuring hospicare for all!
