Hello, everyone! My name is Maureen Tagliavento and this is my first year participating in Women Swimmin' for Hospicare. I have been swimming since the age of 2, spending many years jumping off my dad's boat into Cayuga Lake and as a member of the Ithaca YMCA.
When my husband passed away in 2019 I truly understood the profound impact of Hospicare's services. In my darkest hour, they welcomed me with open arms and provided a supportive environment that helped me navigate through grief. Additionally, working in long-term care, I witness first-hand the invaluable support Hospicare provides to patients and their families on a daily basis.
Hospicare's mission to provide compassionate end-of-life care and support is more crucial now than ever before.
