Each year I swim in memory of my grandmother, Dorothy Ibert, whose local hospice in Columbia County brought wonderful care to her and support to our family during her final days in 2008. This year I am additionally swimming in memory of my two dear aunts, Melanie and Marilyn. The compassionate end-of-life care they each received in their home communities is a  lasting comfort to their families, by whom they were each surrounded when they died. 

The fact that Hospicare is there for people when they need more than they have words to describe is why I am proud to raise money for them each year. Thank you for considering a donation to support my swim.
