I am not a writer - I just write.
From time to time.
This is my first Write-a-thon participation.
During July I will write for both the Write-a-thon and Camp NaNoWriMo.
My Writing Goals
My goal for these 6 weeks is supposed to be manageable:
one story per week
length: in the gray area between a long Flash and a short Short
genre: still clueless, but surely something weird/silly/speculative
language: English (not my native language)
If time permits my weekly stories will be edited (by my wife; her English is better than mine) and published on my blog.
PS: the avatar shows my cameo in Mark Siegel's graphic novel "Sailor Twain or The Mermaid in the Hudson".

Days
He woke up with a laugh, well prepared for the new day.
At his workplace he laughed at his colleagues' jokes, and at the work assignments he got that day.
Leaving the office, he witnessed an accident, where a car hit someone crossing the road, his briefcase flying through the air. It was difficult to laugh at that, but he managed.
Back at home, an episode of "Mr. Bean" had him laugh and giggle happily, without much effort.
With a quiet laugh he went to sleep, already mentally preparing for the difficult day ahead, which was Weeping Day.
Writing Progress
Week 1: "The Lottery Win" finished!
Wrote 3 words on Day 1. Yes, the title! Very important!
Changed 2 of those words on Day 2. Progress?!?!
Prepping done - words start to flow!
1st draft of "The Lottery Win" has been finished with 1800+ words.
A voice in my head asks "What's next?", but I have no answer yet.
