Welcome to the 2019 Walk to End Hunger SKD Kitchens' Team page!! 

We're looking forward to walking together on Thanksgiving Day, and invite you to help us reach our fundraising goal!  We're hoping to raise $5,000---so every single gift will help us get there.

In 2017, we were one of the top 5 fundraising teams!  We were able to participate in a grocery bagging event before the Walk (at a local Cub foods), so if you know of opportunities like that, it might help our efforts!

In 2018 we had a great time, with some new team members and we're excited to invite people to help us raise support for hunger-relieving organizations in the Twin Cities.  Would you like to join us? You can walk with us on Thanksgiving morning, or you can "sleepwalk" with us by making a donation!

In 2019, we've decided to raise support for the "general fund" at the Walk to End Hunger, which spreads our fundraising efforts among all of the organizations, instead of choosing just one.  Scott and I live in Rosemount, but we realize that other team members live elsewhere in Minnesota, so we want to be able to serve lots of these wonderful organizations together with you!  Take a look at the Walk to End Hunger website to learn about all the fantastic orgs and their work. 

If you're able, please share our SKD Kitchens' fundraising page (on Facebook, Instagram, by email, by mail, or in person) with as many people as possible, and feel free to use our SKD Kitchens' page to help as needed.  Each team member has an individual fundraising goal, and it all goes toward our team goal and helps to relieve hunger in Minnesota this year.
