PRISM is a nonprofit, social service agency providing food housing, and clothing to more than 1,000 households each month. Since 1970, PRISM has worked to provide social services and connections that empower people in our community to build healthy, stable lives. We are proud to be a trusted community resource for our neighbors.

We are continuing to serve the most vulnerable families in the community. Our populationis exponentially increasing due to the heightened disparities within our general service population, as well as a new population of participants that may be experiencing hunger insecurity and housing instability on some level for the first time. 

We have shifted our food distribution model to a drive-up model to keep the community and our staff healthy. Since March 15th, 2020 we are serving and average of 900 families in two weeks. To put this into perspective, we served 900 families in the month of January 2020! This is double our normal capacity. And we are doing it with limited staff and volunteers. 

Our core values - dignity, accountability, collaboration, innovation - guide our creativity and flexibility to respond to the immediate needs of the community and to continue being the Keepers of Hope. 

We see the invisibility of hunger and we know hunger has always been here.
