As a father of 3 boys myself I can not imagine how hard it is to raise kids as a single parent or to be a guardian to boys with no father or male role model in their life. The statistics do not lie and the chances of addiction, mental health issues and even jail are so much higher for these boys. 100 Wave Challenge: Saturday, September 27, 2025
I am taking the 100 Wave Challenge on Saturday, September 27th at Mission Beach benefiting Boys to Men Mentoring (B2M). The funds we raise together will support B2M's efforts to bring positive male mentorship to hundreds of young men in San Diego County.
Boys to Men Mentoring is a nonprofit organization facilitating consistent group mentoring for the fatherless, at-risk, and disconnected teenage boys of San Diego County. Through strategic partnerships with local middle schools, high schools, and community partner locations, Boys to Men connects teenage boys with compassionate mentors who provide the encouragement, empowerment, and accountability they need to thrive.
There is nothing more powerful than surrounding a young man with a community of support and giving him the opportunity to reach his fullest potential. I hope to do that this year by attempting to catch 100 waves in one day to raise money and awareness for Boys to Men.
