Peer-to-Peer fundraising has been a staple of Mile High 360's development model for the past decade, and it brings out the gererosity in everyone - those who give & ask and those who donate because they were asked. This is a great way to share about Mile High 360 - to share the mission (to ensure that socio-economic status isn't a limitting factor in the future of young children); to share an introduction to a student; to share how you made an impact; or to share why you care so much.
We understanding that educational and life outcomes are tied to out-of-school resources as much as to the school itself. To that end, Mile High 360 is a comprehensive, wrap-around services program designed to provide first-generation college bound students with after-school, weekend and summer access to essential out-of-school resources in three core areas.
- Academic Assistance: Study skills support, tutoring, enrichment in literacy, SAT prep, college visits, and an array of college preparation support
- Health & Wellness Programs: Mental health support, drug and alcohol prevention, human development classes, squash or cycling coaching, and nutritional instruction
- Life Skills Experiences: Community service, a mentor program, summer travel, a speaker series, financial health classes, internships, resume building, and job support
Mile High 360 students join in 6th grade and remain with us through age 24, participating in over 3,800 hours of formal and informal programming over those 13 consecutive years. We grow up together. Our oldest students are turning 23 and have been members of MH360 for over half their lives.
