About me

Being a Boston area native and the parent of an individual on the autism spectrum, there is no greater champion in my mind than Doug Flutie! The Flutie Foundation makes immeasurable contributions to improve the quality of life for individuals with ASD and their families.

Our family has been part of ACEing Autism since this non-profit was launched in 2008. Zoe was one of the very first participants, Aaron has been a volunteer, I have been a member of the Board of Directors since day one, and our family has been part of the annual clinic at the US Open for many years. ACEing Autism has been privileged to receive grants from the Flutie Foundation.

Going back as far as 2009, I have been captaining a team every year at the Flutie 5K n ACEing Autism's name to help give some visibility to ACEing Autism and support the Flutie Foundation for Autism at the same time.

Since the pandemic, the Flutie Foundation has revamped their model and through tremendous innoovation, they have turned this event into a ready-made fundraiser for all their charity partners like ACEing Autism. In other words, the Flutie Foundation will pass every dollar raised by Team ACEing Autism directly to ACEing Autism. This is an incredible opprotunity and we hope to make the most of it.!
