18th Annual ASK 5K & Fun Walk

After 5 weeks of puzzling grueling pain and limping, a broken tibia diagnosis, Osteomyelitis, 1,000 needle sticks and tests, Charlie was diagnosed with Pre B Lymphoblastic Leukemia on October 30th, 2018. In Jan 2021, Charlotte officially ended all treatments and is in survivorship. She goes to her Oncologist every three months for blood work. She's thriving in first grade making tons of friends, creating art work almost daily, and just living her best life.

A lot could have gone wrong and for many kids, they have different cancers that make the treatments and recovery more difficult. As parents, we have so much more pressure on our shoulders after the "your child has cancer" diagnosis, and ASK has been there since day 1 and continues their mission with our family and so many others in central Virgnia.
