Childhood cancer touched our family with the diagnosis of our daughter, Hallie Jean in 2021. At 4 weeks old we learned Hallie had a CNS embryonal tumor (NOS) which had a poor outlook and limited treatment options due to her age and size. Our sweet girl fought her hardest, but passed at 8 weeks old after her battle at VCU CHOR. We learned firsthand how ASK is an important part of a family's team in the battle against childhood cancer, and are walking this year to help raise funds for other families in the community who are still battling.
