I walk for preeclampsia because every step I take represents hope, awareness, and support for survivors like myself. Just two weeks post-delivery, I received a diagnosis of postpartum preeclampsia. Like numerous mothers, I was oblivious to the symptoms and overlooked the signs. Enduring headaches for about a week, it wasn't until my follow-up appointment that elevated blood pressure was detected, leading to my immediate readmission.

While many assume that preeclampsia only occurs before delivery, it's essential to understand that preeclampsia can also develop after childbirth.
