Join me in raising funds for ASK! Since I started my job 2 years ago as the Education Support Navigator at Carilion Children's Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, I have met almost 150 southwest VA families impacted by childhood cancer! Here are some things for you to know about ASK:
ASK stands for Assistance, Support, and Kindness.
Families of children in active treatment receive $2,000 in non-medical financial assitance.
Patients, survivors, and siblings have access to free online tutoring through Brain Boedga.
Monthly social events allow children and families to meet others impacted by childhood cancer.
Scholarships are given to graduating ASK kids!
