Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the APDA Optimism Walk.

My father John Perosino was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease about 5 years ago. A son believes his father is invincible; someone that can handle any situation and overcome any odds. A father is a boy's first role model and hero. Since the diagnosis, it has been incredibly difficult for my family and I to watch this perception of invincibility fade. While incredibly disheartening, there is work to be done to make a difference. My goal is to simply do what I can to help; help my father by representing the organizations dedicated to supporting Parkinson's patients and the research dedicated to beating the disease. I will be walking in support of my father and all of the other men & women diagnosed with Parkinson's. It is my duty to make a difference, and I’d greatly love and appreciate your support.

The funds we raise will help the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) provide:

Local education, information, and support for people impacted by PD
Nationwide virtual programs to keep everyone connected, no matter where they live
Scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments, and ultimately a cure
