Hi, my name is Claudia Wojciechowski! I am a first year rider missionary for Biking for Babies and I am a part of the Minnesota Team. I am from Buffalo Grove, IL and I am currently a student at Ave Maria University studying exercise physiology. I am a part of the xc and track team at AMU and the leader of the Life Runners Club. I am super involved with ministry on campus and I am very passionate about my faith. I enjoy anything related to fitness— running, biking, lifting and I love spending time outside. I also love volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, hanging out with family & friends and going to adoration.
The reason I joined the mission of Biking for Babies was because I want to be able to spread awareness and support the pro-life movement by advocating for life. I first heard about B4B through an organization called Life Runners and I got even more information about it at the SEEK conference. It really caught my attention because I love putting my faith into action doing things I love and I'm always up for a good challenge!
When I got to Ave Maria University, the University opened my eyes to see how much there can be done to help women in need and it made me want to learn more about the pro life movement and what we can do to end abortion. Something I've learned is that even offering up a mile of a run or a ride for someone in need can go a long way and it can bring so much joy and purpose to what your doing. Our training as riders is intense, we're training to bike 600 miles in 6 days. But through our pain and in our tirdness we can offer up that suffering for someone affected by an abortion and for the unborn. Through the Biking for Babies mission my goal is to bike as a prayer to defend children in the womb, so that they may be born and united with our Christian community. I also hope to raise awareness so that our culture can view all of life as a reflection of God’s glory.
