Get ready for an unforgettable day on the breathtaking grounds of Nemours Estate! Our family‑friendly 5K and Fun Run winds through the Estate’s Versailles‑inspired gardens. Run, walk or roll past playful fountains, majestic towers, and grand monuments, creating an experience you won’t find anywhere else. 

Every step you take helps a child heal. Proceeds benefit the Nemours Children’s Compassionate Care Fund, supporting world‑class care for sick and injured children. Raise $5,000 or more, and you can direct your impact to the Nemours department of your choice in the Delaware Valley.  

Don’t miss the Runner’s Village with food and beverages to refuel the whole family, lively music and goodies from our generous sponsors. Check out our Kid Zone with games, face painting and more! We expect more than 1,000 runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, and cheerleaders of all ages—please be one of them! Individuals and teams are welcome. Registered participants will receive a race shirt and finisher’s medal. Medals will be handed out at the finish line while supplies last.

Registration fee includes bib, race shirt and finishers medal

Early Bird:  

Early Bird 5K: $20

Early Bird One-Mile Fun Run: $15

Early Bird registration closes on August 18th at 5pm

After August 18th:  

5K: $30

One-Mile Fun Run: $25

Race day registration: 

5K: $35

One-Mile Fun Run: $30

 

Race Schedule: 

The 5K and Fun Run races will start at Nemours Estate near the front entrance gate.

8 - 8:45 a.m.: Race day registration 

*If you are registering on site, please visit the Registration tent located at the entrance of the Runner’s Village. Participants will also need to pick up their race packets at the Registration tent if they have not already done so.

9 a.m.: Fun Run start  

9:30 a.m.: 5K start 

10:20 a.m.: Announcements and awards ceremony  

11 a.m.: Event concludes. Thank you for your support!

Start a Team:

Create a team and invite your friends and family to join you. You can also join an existing team or participate as an individual. Teams that raise $5,000 or more can designate their funds to support a department of their choice at Nemours Children's Health, Delaware Valley.

Your participation in the Nemours Children’s Health Run & Walk in Delaware Valley will benefit our Compassionate Care Fund which ensures that we have the flexibility to meet the greatest needs of families, follow the most promising research breakthroughs and meet new and evolving community needs.

The Compassionate Care Fund touches every hospital department — from critical care to rehabilitation to emotional support services.

Support from the fund allows Nemours to innovate, advocate, and serve families in ways that traditional insurance does not cover.
