Why Support the CompassCare Walk for Life? Because CompassCare Gets Results!

August 1, 2002, a humble pregnancy center on East Ave. re-opened as CompassCare, the first medical model (ultrasound) pregnancy center in New York State, the abortion capitol of the nation. On that day, an abortion vulnerable patient twice changed her mind, deciding to carry her baby to term and deciding to follow Jesus.

In 2005, CompassCare launched its 15-step linear service model resulting in 96% of abortion-vulnerable patients choosing to have their babies. CompassCare trained many centers across the country and they too experienced a very high rate of patients choosing to have their babies. It was clear that the model could be replicated.

In 2017, CompassCare launched its NY State Expansion strategy with the opening of a second location, this one in Buffalo. And then a third location in Albany.

At 2:30 AM on June 7, 2022, the Buffalo office was fire-bombed by a group of pro-abortion activists resulting in $260,000 in damages. Thanks to the incredible response of Buffalo staff and a host of volunteers, they resumed seeing patients the next day and the renovated office re-opened two months later.

God is so, so good! The fire-bombing immediately attracted national attention. Rev. Jim Harden, CEO, was hosted on 400 broadcasts in the first month, many with listeners in the millions, like Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Fox News, Eric Metaxas and many more. CompassCare had become a national pregnancy center and Jim Harden a pro-life voice with continuing national influence. The attention gave a powerful boost to CompassCare’s new TeleCare services,  CompassCare’s response to the rapidly growing abortion-pill-by-mail trend.

Since then, CompassCare has opened an office in Brooklyn, the heart of the abortion capitol, the county with the highest abortion rate in the nation. Soon, a mobile unit will begin seeing patients in the Bronx.

Since August 2002, over 20,000 babies have been saved. Over 4,000 women have submitted their lives to Jesus. In the last three years, the number of patients served has doubled, and re-doubled. So far this year, CompassCare’s in-person patient appointments are up 168%, and Telecare appointments are 565%. 765 babies have been saved and 138 women have submitted their lives to Christ across the CompassCare network.

The patients load in increasing dramatically. The need is massive. Save more lives through CompassCare by sponsoring a woman and her baby at www.2X.life OR click the GIVE NOW button in the upper right. Because CompassCare gets results.
