Any Mountain Rainier

Climb a Mountain.   Make a Difference.

Fighting ovarian cancer is harder than climbing Any Mountain,  but every step we take up the mountain brings us closer to the top.  Any Mountain is committed to summiting the steepest challenges in gynecologic cancer through creativity and research.

In 2023, we sent 20 ovarian cancer survivors, medical providers and caregivers to the rooftop of the world to put the first ovarian cancer survivor in history on Mt Everest's 29,032' summit on May 14, 2023 -- Jess Wedel.

In 2024, our team climbed Mt Baker!!

We have raised over $900,000 for ovarian cancer prevention & early detecton research and awareness to date!!!

This Summer, join Jess as she leads our Any Mountain team on our next adventure!!

Any Mountain RAINIER Climb

July 11 – 15, 2025

(with travel days July 10-16, 2025)

Overview:

Join and experience an exclusive mountaineering fundraising program designed to give you the training, technical support, and guide services you need to summit mountains safely. This climb is open to all who are ready to take on the challenge of summiting a mountain.

Funds raised by participants will go directly to ovarian cancer early detection and prevention research awareness efforts.

The Route:

Five Day Disappointment Cleaver Climb, Mount Rainier

The Five Day Climb gives climbers a more flexible itinerary on Mt. Rainier’s classic route. The first two days prepare us for our climb with an afternoon orientation and a Mountaineering Day School, focusing on team building and training. We then ascend Mt. Rainier’s lower slopes to Camp Muir (10,060’). Spending two nights in camp allows us the flexibility to climb during the best window for weather and conditions. An additional day on the mountain can also allow more time to practice basic mountaineering techniques. From Camp Muir, climbers ascend 4,400’ to the summit crater before descending the same route. The duration of the climb depends on many variables, including snow conditions, the time of year, the route conditions, and the weather, but a typical summit push involved 10-12 hours of climbing round trip from Camp Muir.
