Aging Services

Funding specialized care for older adults, families, and caregivers through services like the Center for Family Caregivers and Memory Disorders Clinic.

Associate giving supports caregivers who receive life-changing services at no cost. "The classes I've taken have taught me patience in caring for my husband, Chuck. The instructors and my classmates remind me that I'm not alone."

Associate Relief Fund

Assisting our colleagues experiencing emergency financial hardship.


 

In 2024, associate giving helped provide assistance to 141 associates totaling $210,269.84 to help with mortgage payments, rent, utilities and more.

Cancer Services

Provides education, advanced technology, patient care, and treatment for those diagnosed with cancer.

 

Associate giving helps fund cancer treatment, close to home, at the Health First Cancer Institute.

Compassionate Care Fund

Helping eligible patients overcome barriers to treatment through Guardian Angel Grants that help with transportation, prescriptions, medical equipment, and more.

Associate giving extends Guardian Angel grants to eligible patients in need.

ED Trauma/First Flight

Ensuring critical care for severe, life-threatening injuries as fast as possible, including the Pediatric ED.

 

Education

Offering associates in opportunities to further their education through certification grants, skills lab equipment, and scholarships. 

 

Heart and Vascular

Supporting medical technology and patient care, preventative heart care, rhythm management, vascular treatments, valve clinic, and cardiothoracic specialties.
 

Hospice of Health First

Providing care and quality of life to support terminally ill patients and their families at home and the William Childs Hospice House.

 

Associate giving supports the Forever a Hero program, which honors veterans at the end of their lives.

Women and Children

Women's services include gynecology, urogynecology, breast health, pregnancy, and heart health; pediatric services include birthing suites, pediatrician offices, Brevard’s only pediatric emergency room, and specialized pediatric inpatient unit.

Associate giving provides comfort and courage for children visiting the emergency department.
